Created a lot more is an exaggeration and statistically untrue this season. What is true, is that Bart has conceded less in the same amount of games. His pass completion % is higher, he plays more passes, he makes more saves, he catches more crosses… neither has an assist or a key pass for this...

I’d say Bart’s a footballer. He’s just young and making mistakes. But let’s be abundantly clear, last night there were footballing mistakes all over the pitch in the first half, with Gross culpable for our goal and Van Hecke having a nightmare first half with the ball - that’s just two specific...

I’d take Bart over Steele all day long. There’s a reason he’s conceded less goals per game than Steele this year in the same amount of playing time. Yes, he has weaknesses to his game, but so does Steele. We’re a much better defensive unit with him in goal than Steele.

It’s the qualities he needs next to him that he misses. Someone more mobile, who can also take the ball under pressure and progress it. I know Baleba’s statistically been very good this year, but I think most teams know that if they cut off Gilmour, it interrupts our rhythm completely.

Gilmour for me. Particularly second half, he was excellent. If he had someone of a similar level next to him he’d be some player.

There was some strange decisions in the Palace box second half. They seemed to only have to fall over and they got a free kick. The reverse wasn’t true, that’s for sure.

After that first half? You’ve got to be kidding right?

Most of the issues are coming from Van Hecke’s passing out of the back, which has been nothing short of abysmal so far.
