    There are certainly higher levels of violent crime overall, but there are less murders in the UK compared to 1990, so it is a nuanced topic for sure. I don’t think the UK is an inherently more dangerous country for the average person than it has been for the previous few decades though.

    I’d say the vast majority of the UK is very safe indeed. Your chances of being caught up in a random violent event are very, very low indeed.
