Interesting perspective.
I'm on the other side, and have the same experience. I'm vaguely aware of the 2 chants thing, and generally it's a case of picking up whichever one gets loudest.
By the time the whole north stand gets going, half the stand are ready to move on to another chant and it...
It's never going to be unless the west join in.
It's pretty rare i hear the away end singing loudly.
Same amount of fans and a much lower percentage of "Werthers originals suckers" in the away end.
Typical west stand attitude.
The north stand aren"t as good as the exact same number of diehard away fans.
They must be the problem...
Whilst i'm sitting on the halfway line, humming along to Sussex by the Sea....
The singing is led by the North stand.
You appear to be annoyed, that it isn't...
You're talking shit
When the west upper can be bothered, the noise carries just fine.
You"re just picking at the one group of fans that do continually try to make an atmosphere.
Concentrate on trying to improve the noise coming from your stand first
So Sheffield United outsang the North for 90 minutes did they?
Maybe if you spent your time singing, rather than judging the volumes of the North, it would make the difference?
The North take that responsibility on,
But there are 3 times as many fans in the West stand and they contribute next to nothing.
The limitations of the North Stand has been done to death.
Even with everyone singing in unison it won't generate the levels required, without the rest of the stands...
Unfortunately there just aren't enough people in the North for it ever to make the noise our fans want it to.
The only way we will ever make the levels of noise that will be deemed acceptable is for the West stand to step up and contribute to comparable levels of the North.
The play off semi...
No they didn't
The atmosphere was great for the first 15 minutes.
Then the players started knocking it about a bit aimlessly and took the edge off a great start.
It was ever thus.
The North stand started well.
Not sure why you think RDZ's rallying call was just aimed at the North though...
