I thought Dahoud was more intelligent than that. Perhaps I gave him too much credit previously.
If we take the chances before then maybe we scrape it but gave ourselves too much to do after the needless red card. Yes, completely needless.
I would have more sympathy if he was the hard man CM breaking up the play and saving us every game but he's soft as they come. Needless lazy challenge in a crazy position with absolutely no danger, should never give the ref that decision to make. He's not just an escape goat heh, he's gone full...
The team missed the chances, some of which were half chances. Dahoud put us in that position with 10 men and a lot left to play with a challenge he didn't need to make. These are facts.
From memory the challenge was even inside their half or close to the half way line, needless stuff.
I meant to quote the others who are trying to apportion blame on RDZ for that but train was too packed to hit the buttons.. 11 men and we should have finished the job there, very disappointing as it wasn't a challenge he needed to make and frankly should have known far better.
Nothing to do with De Zerbi is it, he set us up well. You don't take a red card on a needless challenge when we're only 1 up, Dahoud and only Dahoud put us in that position
Yes should have had 2 first half but completely changed the game as you say, course it did. Absent minded lazy and tired challenge, pathetic stuff which put us right under it
