The £65-75 price was crazy, they may have shifted some if they announced who the dj was but by not saying who it was just meant people fearedthat they would expect our norman and then find out its an emotional return tonthe amex for Loccadia
we've been for both beam backs, arriving around 30 mins before the kick off. No problem getting drinks on arrival , most we had to wait was a couple of minutes, didnt use the app though. Got 2 or3 beers at varying times during the matches again just one or two people in front.
No problem with...
94 spaces left as of 3pm. A great start to "The Terrace" Im looking forward to it, my issue with watching in pubs is the small screens, hopefully if its a success its going to be a regular thing for away matches, England Matches and other events
Im aready planning to use it for coffee stops on...
you have to buy print at home tickets for £2.50, no option for mobile tickets-thats a bit of a con ! its £8.50 in that case which is still ok but thats not made clear untill you are halfway through buying them
Ok, on one page it says £2.50 fee to print at home, but on the confirmation and card...
its quite probable that they would open before the "official opening", just to test things out. I would be surprised if they didnt have a few tills open, maybe the cafe and a snacks outlet just to make sure it all works. Can you imagine the shitshow if they waited and just opened the doors on...
i am somewhat at a loss as to why so many people on here seem to have a massive chip on the shoulder over the Terrace. There was nothing before, this looks a great addition for those who want to use it, no one is forcing anyone to go in. It was never meant to solve the transport issue, it was...
I'm going to wait and see how it all works in practice but I'm guessing though that within minutes of the opening, this thread will be full of doom-mongers bemoaning every little hitch that always happens when a new venue opens. Queues will be too long, food takes too long, staff don't know...
Ever since thew Amex opened there have been lots of requests for better facilities outside the stadium. Toilets, food, cover from weather. As far as I can see this is exactly what the Terrace gives us, and as an added bonus it will help a little with somewhere to go should the queues be too...
I think the club continually get criticised for the travel, when in reality there is very little they have control over. I do not think they have just given up, but in reality there is little else they can do. The council seem unable to provide anything resembling a proper park and ride scheme...
i would guess a major part of the cause is 30 000 people leaving one place at the same time with one railway station. There simply is no method of moving that many people in short space of time. . Hence the attempt to stagger at least some people leaving by building the fan bar.
Last two times...
as has been said many many times, the Club have very little(if any) control over how many trains run, how long they are, how the station is developed etc
Would we all like a 12 carriage train each way every 10 mins after a match, with nice heated covered waiting areas? yes of course, but that...
Some of us have been saying this for a while, and while some posters are obviously having a joke, I really think some are deliberately looking for things to complain about, the club have said why there was a delay, have said it is planned for later in the season. Although there doesn't appear to...
it looks hugely different, 2 weeks ago that whole concrete area was still below ground level with bare earth visable. There were holes in the ground and reinforcement cages showing. Now the foundation is complete-its above ground . To say it looks just the same is simply wrong. I think by the...
I think the fencing is larger than the actual fanzone so the space will be greater- the only issue I can see causing problems is that if there are lots of people standing around outside in the area people arer walking through-though personally i think the main area for that will naturally be...
once that concrete has set it will go up very quickly I think, and after Tuesday they have a 2 and a half weeks with no match to hold up anything. I think for the Ipswich visit it will look very different
i go past this 3 or 4 times a week, the footprint is the same, the only thing that has changed is that the barriers have been moved outwards to allow equpment, portacabins and space to work. This meands that currently there is very little space between the closest barrier, and the stadium...
why will it cause logistical headaches when the footprint will be exactly the same as for the last games last year and it caused no problems, the barriers are further out to allow more room to work on the site but they will bring them in for the games, In what way is it a mess?
I dont...
