Was it really a power struggle? By all accounts, TB was funding the team even when DK was at the helm. DK was an excellent figurehead but why should he continue in that role once TB was bankrolling the club to the tune that he did. Many former owners of clubs have moved on and taken roles up...

Another way of looking at is is that we wouldn't be where we are today without the money TB has put into the club. For certain we would be up to our eyeballs in debt to financial institutions and look how well that has turned out at other clubs!!

Odd then that there appears no ill will towards Martin Perry from TB and his board.

I'm referring to where you suggested the Police box should go. Re reading it I see what you are saying but it did look like you were suggesting the Police box move there. That said, where would you put the Police box? You can't just get rid of it.

Exactly where do you think it would go in the middle tier of the West Stand? You seem to think the club would try and create about another 700 cheap seats at the expense of the prime 1901 seats/boxes? That wouldn't affect me kn West Upper but clearly would make no financial sense.

What would be the cost benefit though? It would cost several million pounds for those structural changes just to raise the capacity by 700. At current prices that's just £500k extra a year!!

Why prefix them separately with F and M then?

I think they might have labelled the toilets wrong. Seems there are F1 and F2 which I assume are Female, M1 and M2 being Male. However, the M1 and M2 have 5 cubicles and F1 and F2 only 2 each.

So does anyone think they will lay on the same stuff that was at the box park? Peraonally, can't see it being anything like the Box Park experience but I might be proved wrong.

Not sure why you think it's a box park clone? Box park has numerous different food outlets which this is unlikely to have as it will be one caterer. Apart from that, a box park is just a few bars in a rectangular building. You might as well say it's a Wetherspoons clone or a Greene King clone...

I think it does look impressive but if they are closing Dick's bar then you are just moving that crowd to another area. It would be interesting to know what phase two is and whether this included extending covered areas around the outside concourse.
