Praps they are thinking that because it's student land, there may be some folk up for it. If those student flats were build on Bennetts field, they may get a few regulars (although a student discount would need to be inteoduced 🤣)
Well I tought it was buzzing on Saturday and I really like The Terrace. I love the vibe of it, got there an hour before and stayed an hour after. It's only been open a few weeks so I'm sure it'll adapt.
Im with you! Away fans in The Terrace should be a absolute no, no. They can stay in their concourse.
Don't need to see smug/loud or gobby away fans in a home fanzone after a shite performance or result. Imagine Leeds fans in there...🤮
Didn't the Terrace cost £10million? Also, it may sound sad but I'm rather attached to The Terrace already. Compared to other fanzones, it's the balls. It did improve my matchday experience before the game, watching the football outside and a decent atmosphere too. Much better than the concourse...
I agree with a full opening. Try and encourage people to get there earlier, decent weather will help with this. The later kick off also allows people to have a few more beers which deffo improves the atmosphere IMO. Should be a cracker!
No stops. Just direct from A to B and vice versa on a constant loop of double deckers or something. Don't want to go too deep into town otherwise the round trip becomes slower. It just needs to be central enough to appeal as an alternative to the train and easy connections to other transport links.
If it meant a slightly higher ticket price and a vastly improved and efficient post match travel service, I'm sure most would agree. Especially if it meant fans could stay to the final whistle without adding an hour onto their journey home.
Bring back the bendy buses. Using coaches as part of a P&R shuttle is beyond annoying. Low capacity and it takes a long time to load people.
Need a bus shuttle service from The Level or somewhere slightly central, to a drop off/pick up point somewhere near the stadium such as the Bridge Car...
