It's essentially free, isn't it, but by having to pay for your first drink in advance it should minimise the number of people who book and then don't turn up, depriving others the chance.

Yes - that is the hope. I understand they will need to ask for permission on a case by case basis, but are optimistic that they will generally be permitted to do so.

I agree wholeheartedly on the frustrations many feel and experience. I said it on a thread earlier this week that it feels like there's be a significant shift recently where a lot of season ticket holders have given up on evening games, and that's not great. I love being at the Amex to watch us...
