These last two seasons playing awful football, but a winner from Goofy in sufficient games is enough to give the points for top 5. It’s purely a money thing. A poor team and very average coach, yet the best part of £2b spent by the Glazer’s in fees buys them a couple of match winners.

Under the NSC radar, by mid October the PL table already resembles a top 8 money league. We’re the last one standing who haven’t spent countless £100m’s. Really unusual, from memory normally at this stage a couple of them have struggled, there might be a manager sacking or two on the cards...

12 Villa players booked in our games against them last season, systematic cheating.

It's jealousy of their success over the last 41 years, a League Cup win.

Not bothered about that. Villa were slagged off as cheats last season too. It's the stain you bring to football. Grown 'men' rolling around on the floor, lying, under instructions from Emery. As a result, loved it when you were taken apart at Anfield and SJP.

That doesn’t explain why Emery and Moyes keep churning out the same PL starting 11 where they can. If anything you’d think the riches of Villa would see a Klopp-esque alternating of personnel. Emery imho has tunnel vision for PL three points on repeat. Europe comes second. Arteta was another...

The thing about Emery is the strategy is to take the lead, then cheat or if you’re a fanboy call it “cute game management”. West Ham built up a head of steam, so Martinez falls to the ground completely lying with a leg injury. It worked, WHU momentum killed. I love it when they go behind eg...

Why have Villa and West Ham again both played their best XI’s, days before European ties? Is the PL the bread n butter, always the primary competition to target resources?

You were correct the first time. A plague of arrogant Arsenal plastics in this part of B & H. Many have never been to the Emirates, the others middle aged bloke who first started going when it opened, sharing S/T’s :wanker:

I’m an infrequent JCL gambler, but have various bets on Chavs/Spuds having strong PL seasons. It was obvious. Both spent fortunes, again. Then whilst 8 competitors are having to travel around the continent, Poch, Angie and the players have their feet up.

£1b and Spuds/Chavs players this season gets a week’s rest between most PL games. It was obvious they’d both have a strong season as a one off. Money and prep talks.

The problem was no one knew if it was intended. That too was debated to death. If the arm is miles from the body eg Michael Keane today, it’s a stonewall pen.

I think it 6,400, we had the upper tier of the end stand and half of Witton Lane. Favourite chant was a tennis match of "We're the ....... Brighton boys". Bitterly cold, we stopped at Snow & Rock Chertsey in a detour on the way, as my nipper forgot to bring a coat.

I'm a believer in early yellows when earned. It stops a game of cheating in its tracks. Most disagree with that, especially punters "The ref wisely allowing one or two early infringements to go".

Anyone here at Villa Park for the FAC tie January 2010? Ashley Young was a sewer rat that day, a diving belligerent tw@t. He later perfected diving at Manure, I think one of their managers had to ask him to stop? Can't stand him, funny to see the red card.

You have to take each game and incident on its merits. Gross twice tugged back Liverpool players on dangerous counter attacks and got no cards. The ref was one of the let things flow types, when it's a stop-start schoolmaster (falling for the trap laid by Emery, Silva, Moyes or Dyche) we hate...
