[Albion] AEK Athens - ticketing process, tiers and all that jazz

Think so. I walked to the ground so my ticket was scanned at the turnstile but don’t think that matters given how many weren’t scanned for this game.

That was what I was looking forward to seeing when I got home (as most of the game wasn’t all that)……..such a shame it was presumably replaced with an ad break. Our own Gregg Wallace knee-sliding into the Masterchef semis was hilarious.

Just strolled down to the stadium, less than 20 mins from the hotel…….not much directly around it, couple of food wagons on the outside concourse and a lot of barriers being put up.

Has a similar experience in Brazil…..was working there, went to go to a highly recommended restaurant with a colleague but we couldn’t find it. Stopped a cab and despite his protests we insisted he took us to the restaurant as we had a booking and didn’t want to be late. Went less than 100 yards...

The email takes you back to the link on the club website, where it continues to say 'are ADVISED' to take the transfer buses.......'

Doubt it…there’s always a degree of shuffling around even where the majority are in their assigned seats. There will be pockets where we’re a bit squashed and others where there are gaps - always the case.

I’ve got a hotel within about 20 mins walk of the ground so will be trying to avoid any bus malarkey if possible.

This is EXACTLY why people should quit moaning about having to email their non-attendance and not getting a refund. You two got the chance to go together and have the memory for a lifetime.

I went a couple of seasons ago…….where we came from behind to win. Apart from the casual homophobia in the ground and grimness of the town, it was alright 🤣 Will probably go again !

The passing on wasn’t really Brentford, it was pretty much all away games and led to most of the arrests/issues we experienced didn’t it (and hence the random collection/ID checks) ?

How do you know the club didn’t try to negotiate more ? Also, an extra 2-300 almost certainly doesn’t work from a segregation perspective…….. 5% is low though.……although away attendance numbers across European leagues are hugely variable (German teams take loads, Spanish teams hardly any for...
