The window does seem to open at a random time xx:57 xx:58 etc... that doesn't help with 'transparency'. With so few tickets to sell to so many keen purchasers it is bound to be sold out before xx:00

Simply close the window at 13:45, and re-open at 14:00 with empty baskets.

The DO have the ability to do that - it seems odd if they didn't chose to do it this time.

or gamble on everyone doing that, and go for one of the other blocks? A very limited few are going to get lucky.

It doesn't show on the 'Tickets... Details...' either which means I don't think there is a way of checking. :nono:

Have they stopped putting the passport numbers in the confirmation email?

Sorry that was slow... a lot of faffing around getting passport numbers assigned to tickets. 1580 available as it opened.

That will catch out some ticket purchasers. You need to have the owners passport number for EACH TICKETS you are buying.
