[Albion] AEK Athens - ticketing process, tiers and all that jazz

Only reason i asked was because most of the weekend the tickets available were around the 700 mark right up until i last looked late yesterday. Yet when i looked this morning at 8.55 it was 630. Then when i refreshed just as the window opened it was down to under 500 and then carried on down. I...

100% agree that not enough tickets reappeared and also noted they had all gone BEFORE 2.00

Actually it was ticket single not tickets plural at 13.59.30. I have been watching these on and off since this morning and at one point there was about 100 available. About 12.30 that number started reducing as people in the previous tier started putting them in baskets and by 13.45 it was down...

Yes that is also a possibility but it was the timing of the increase in availability that made me question what was going on. As fully accepted when they went on sale at just before 9.00 the quantity plummeted and by 9.02 it was 149. From that point it was a slower steadier decline (apart from a...

The way that happened strongly suggests to me that either people were putting a lot more in their baskets than they actually wanted in order to give themselves time to consider options or people with friends only able to buy at 2.00 were trying to hold seats near to where they had purchased.

The group of ambulant disabled, about 30 of them, at the front of 47 suddenly disappeared. I wonder if they will return as standard seats.

Would love to help out young feller but i will be in Manchester (if trains are willing). What i have done though as i was wondering about the difference between theoretical 1625 and actual 1580 was to count the seats in each block and i make it 697 in 46, 426 in 47 and 503 in 48. A total of 1626...

That's it then as Titanic posted there were 1580 when it opened. I am thinking now that in excess of 500 will go to monday and perhaps even some for teusday.

Yes it was. The club have probably held some back but quite likely not as many as before. How many were we entitled to given the size of the ground?

Thanks Bob, i had not seen that either and do not think it has been mentioned before you did. Knowing that some book their tickets from work locations i hope they will read your post before Friday am. Of course the saving grace is anyone on the first day is guaranteed a ticket. Another thing is...
