There’s a strong correlation between length of thread/amount of excitement on NSC and how poor the player turns out to be. Jahanbaksch and Fati. If Calleri ever signs he’s going to be really crap.
If we qualify for Europe, a second loan seems very possible. He won’t have done enough to walk back in to Barca’s first team after this injury you’d think.
Something about the formation didn’t seem quite right. Fati and Pedro were playing like a front 2 with a big gap to Gross and Billy. This meant lots of longish passes into them which they were trying to flick. I’d have liked to see Lallana on to try to bridge the gap.
It’s also perfectly possible that he could be not quite the player he was and yet still fantastic for us. For all of our progress, there remains at least some gap between ‘good enough for Brighton’ and ‘the new Messi’
Assuming you’re Spanish, you’ll need to drop the perfect English if you want to stick around here and fit in. ‘Would of’ instead of ‘would have’ is particularly important, and please ensure apostrophes are used entirely randomly.
Thanks for the update :)
I don’t think that would be close to our best option. I’d think
——————— Ferguson ———————
Mitoma ———- — Fati ————- March
The best thing is we would then have Welbs, Pedro and Adingra on the bench (and Lallana hopefully). Really strong.
