Even I've softened a little bit on him since I saw him shaking hands and hugging most of our squad (as did Caicedo). It made it even more noticeable that every single player avoided Cucurella, giving him a VERY wide berth as he went straight down the tunnel :wanker:

This is what I think. We paid £30M two years ago and I think that was about right. By the end of his first season I thought he could be a £100M striker, but doesn't seem to have developed as quickly this season as last, so maybe £50-60M is about right currently.

I've always said that if we had to sell one of our stars he would be my choice. However, I got told on Friday that he had personal problems and may not be available, so maybe hold on the pitchforks and burning torches for a bit and see what happens ???
I believe that TB did everything to keep Cucurella and Caicedo and they were always planned to stay longer. But as has been proven, if you have any confidence in your overall plan, when somebody offers silly money, it would be absolutely crazy not to take it and reinvest in it.
