As far as we were informed all occupants and staff are accounted for. And they cleared the homeless out from the stairwells and back areas .
So I think, god willing, nobody came to any harm.
Can you imagine all the manky old matresses, curtains, carpets etc all going into that smoke?

We were drafted in to man the cordon for a few hours tonight. It was still burning when we left it a while ago.
Smoke was horrendous. Wa surreal standing at the Old Steine as the sun went down and everything was shrouded in smoke, blue lights and the light from the fire.
Was like a film.
