In a nutshell, and without going into too much detail, they used every trick in the book to delay as long as possible a policy payout when my Mum died. Aside from adding more stress to an already upsetting situation, their purposeful delay could have had further ramifications. Terrible company!

Oh, I should also add Royal London. Had a terrible experience with them recently that means I'll never go near them with a barge pole.
