There's only two classes, the ruling class and the working class. All these other 'classes and sub-classes' are simply made up to keep it that way :wink:
JRM doesn't have to work to live, and most believe he doesn't. He therefor can't be working class, he is ruling class, whatever he may claim.
You, me and HT have all had to work in order to live and are all working class :shrug:
Many years ago, all sweets in the UK were sold this way, from big jars by weight. You could buy 2 oz in a paper bag (about 50g). Most sweet shops were newsagents/tobacconists/sweetshops and would only have maybe 10-20 jars and that was all you could buy.

If you have to work, or your main source of income is from work, you are working class. If you don't, then you are ruling class. Them's the rules :wink:
