Many years ago, all sweets in the UK were sold this way, from big jars by weight. You could buy 2 oz in a paper bag (about 50g). Most sweet shops were newsagents/tobacconists/sweetshops and would only have maybe 10-20 jars and that was all you could buy. The first sweet shop I remember was...

If you have to work, or your main source of income is from work, you are working class. If you don't, then you are ruling class. Them's the rules :wink:
