Former Albion U-15 Elidon O'Boyle helped Millwall beat Chelsea on penalties tonight and thus progress to the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup - wonderful achievement.
Elidon O'Boyle helped Millwall U-18s to a 3-0 win at Coventry tonight and they are now through to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup, where they host either Chelsea (his former club) or Palace.
And Jacob has, indeed, signed on as a 1st-year scholar with Albion:-
Vickers made his debut for the U-18 side today (Saturday), coming on as a substitute in the 4-0 home win over Stoke City in the group stages of the U-18 Premier League Cup.
That brings Albion's scholar intake this campaign...
Paul Hazlewood is the club photographer; the article is written by Bruce Talbot.
(I'm loving the fact that in your post about Albion mis-identifying their player, you mis-identify the author!)
I realise I keep quoting myself on this topic but given that nobody else on NSC has any interest in the U-18s, these threads tend to degenerate into the ultimate echo chamber. Oh well.
Nehemiah Oriola made his third appearance for the U-18s today (Saturday). I THINK I'm right in saying that a...
This lad started for the U-18s against WBA today, scored in the first half and was substituted at half-time. On the PL app he's shown as "Trialist" so I'm assuming he hasn't officially signed for Albion (yet, at least). One to keep an eye on.
Crazy game today - Albion ended up winning 4-3 with...
Apparently the U-21s beat an AFC Bournemouth side 3-1 today in what is presumably their last pre-season friendly, with the season getting underway on Friday with a home fixture against the Champions of Europe.
An Albion U-21 side travel to Hemel Hempstead today (Tuesday). Is anyone going?
If so, maybe you could post details of the Albion line-up (pic of a teamsheet maybe) as I doubt the Albion will be covering the game in real time (I'm hoping there will at least be a match report after the game, but...

After a certain amount of searching, I reckon it is Nehemiah Oriola who has been at Manchester United...
The line-up against Worthing included Harry Mills, Sahil Bashir and Bailey Smith.

There's no secret - I simply do a huge amount of research.
I do very occasionally get a little tidbit of information from someone that might be in the know, but 99% comes from doing the legwork. You'd be amazed at what info is actually out there, but obviously most people don't have the time or...
Nine of last season's U-16s were offered scholarships, and we now know that Liverpool U-16 striker Joe Belmont has joined as a scholar. So, the ten 1st-year scholars I am aware of:-

Callum Mackley
Alfie Mansell (GK)

Albion U-18s lost 3-0 at Cambridge United U-18s on Saturday. No word from the Albion, of course, but the Cambridge United instagram account posted a few pictures taken by @izzypolessportsphotography
Here's one example, showing from left to right U-16 Theo Outen and new scholars Corbin Mthunzi...
