Great thread, just a couple for me: Patagonia - I do a lot of mountain hiking, and their waterproof shells are very reliable, put a sweater beneath it and it is my winter coat. I have had two in the last 15 years and second is like new. Icebreaker - cannot wear any other base layer anymore...
