He didn’t step up though, he was chasing?
Haven’t seen the replay yet, so you may be right…..
God that was a horrible 3-4 mins…..
But yes you’re right, thank goodness - just slumped in my seat, really thought he was onside…..
No, a slow defender playing so high is a bad start, and nowhere near his CB colleague is also a bad starting position. He should be slightly diagonal to Dunk not square.
Incidentally, touch tight would have been better than stepping up as well, as he could have grabbed his shirt or blocked him...
Good experience agree, I thought he was poor though. Uncomfortable on the ball not great passing (maybe trying too hard to play RdZ ball - which can make players look bad who are not game ready as they try and delay), poor on defensive elements similar to the Leicester game, just positionally...
Just need a 6’7” defender 😉😂, with the turning circle of an oil tanker….
To be fair, Dunk, Colwill, Webster have all missed very presentable chances from corners on multiple occasions, so not sure it is delivery IMO.
Depends how extreme it gets IMO.
It is a discussion board and people have opinions….
Van Hecke, I felt was poor, so were others, but there were mitigating circumstances in terms of tiredness/fatigue, and in PvH’s case lack of practice.
Well done on going.
You haven’t missed many this year?
We’ve missed 4, including last night, which we were always going to struggle with as soon as it went mid-week.
Clueless, they got on my nerves Toon w8nkers…..
Steele’s save low down was actually very good, as it was so close to his feet. Gave him next to no credit….
