Three years? Steve Bray has been there for nearly seven years. He is crowd funded by his supporters. Tory politicians hate him and the odd internet contributor, but from what I've seen he has far more supporters than detractors.

Mine invests in renewables and is reasonable compares well with similar suppliers.

Partially. Because of lobbying and donations, fossil fuel companies are persuading the government to abandon renewables, or even discourage them, to keep their donors happy with enormous, world beating profits.
