I agree with everything you say about the value for money but sniping about the BBC comes from both left and right. Constant accusations of bias from both sides in order to get their own way may bring it down eventually. The world will be a worse place if that happens.
I’m not so sure. We can’t have a public service broadcaster without a universal license fee. The BBC is either a community asset or it just another Sky or ITV.

So politics aside….because it’s the same people saying the same stuff as a proxy for a general election thread. So the commentators have now gone on strike and the BBC have said there will not be any manager interviews tonight. Match of the Day is all a bit toxic now but Sky have highlights anyway.
