Next time a decision like that gets referred to VAR, a loud continuous chorus of 30,000 boos during the wait would be good to hear.
Not that it will have any bearing in the VAR studio but will be a timely reminder to onfield officials that we've been let down by admitted errors more than once...
Also, isn't there THREE assistant VAR officials as well as the main VAR?
In which case how the f**k can 'human error' be used as an excuse, reason or whatever, in which FOUR professionals have collectively all got wrong??
Claiming 'human error' simply isn't good enough, not when VAR has time to review replays over and over.
People need to be held to account for things like this. I'm not suggesting in any way we have the goal reinstated but this is clearly unsatisfactory performance that needs addressing
