But the odd thing was - the image with the lines and 'offside' appeared on my stream a good 30+ seconds before it was conveyed to the ref. I assumed they were checking other angles or something.

It's so difficult to know what the final outcome of the game would have been if it had been allowed - so it's virtually impossible to say for definite that it cost us the win. We may not have scored a second, and still let in a howler. Who knows.

Clear offside. That is actually what VAR is meant to correct. Sort of defies the 'big six bias' narrative though!

I don't know. They showed that image with the lines, and 'offside' on my stream - but it was a good 30 seconds+ before they gave the decision in the ground. So maybe they did have a different angle somewhere?
