Some people are going to A&E because of the difficulties in getting to see a GP. I may be at odds with some on here, but I don’t get this ‘pop down to your local pharmacy’ thing. I agree with this. When my mother and father were alive (retired nurse and GP), I have to say, that on the whole, the 111 service was at best poor and at worst abysmal.
