Yes. Agreed. But The tactics for fixing poor performance and the skills at dealing with it - don't necessarily result in the desired outcome. you argued that GP wouldn't have noticed that Leandro had had a few poor games. I think every Albion fan noticed that.
Potter and RDZ are two of the best young (ish) coaches in the game but they have different approaches to man management - clearly. And Potter's press conferences were/are hardly direct about player or Albion performance. But to argue that behind the scenes Potter wouldn't have noticed or...
His original explanation for his absence v Boro in quotes to the press last weekend. - a cover story I guess - A few days later he’s now saying he was dropped v Boro and left training early as a result when he found out - hence bust up , a chat on z Monday tgat didn’t resolve it , training on...
As quoted here
RDZ “he didn’t train with us yesterday He had a problem with his calf”

He doesn’t have to “engineer “ a move. Club aren’t going to let him go on a free next year and publicly make great play on his they don’t stand on way of transfers (but they will push hard on fee). The best way of getting the move/fee all sides want is to play and recapture his early season form.
Good grief. I don't think anyone wants him to "f off" . I'll say again. ALbion want to keep their best players.
And You really do not get fired for not performing at 100% or close every day (or every training session/ match). RDZ is a different manager in the way he talks publicly about his...
Unless he’s being sold within days - he’s not - then how does a fake injury make any sense. And then how does any of this sort of behaviour that you’re alleging actually help him get the move he’s after (and supposedly his agent wants) either in Jan or July ? Isn’t the best way to maximise that...
I think workrate too but it’s no different to Hughton or Potter I suspect - except they’d never say that about a player at a press conference. Doesn’t mean he wants to get rid. Just going to have to get used to a manager who is more direct about players when asked.
PS - he was injured on...
(I think)
Trossard - Albion want to keep him
He’s our top scorer, he’s getting better - despite inconsistencies. RDZ rates him but is just more direct about player form - we haven’t had a manager like that for years.
(I know - due to reporting I trust)
His contract is extended until June 2024...
