Just curious... did we ever find out if Trossard returned to training (in the same week he signed for Arsenal)? I recall there were no pics/video from the training ground on the Mon/Tue that week.

In September, Trossard said he'd think about his future after the World Cup. But in the same breath admitted that he'd follow Potter to Chelsea given the opportunity! Didn't take long to think about that. Writing was on the wall. He was never going to be with us next season!

Improves our reputation as a stepping stone for players to the big six - and a big cheque. Hard to take as a fan, sometimes, but all-good if it encourages more starlets to join. And in this case, we got some good mileage out of him and a profit. Can't complain really.

If he doesn't go in this window, he'll go in the summer anyway - for less. Might as well cash in now.
