Just curious... did we ever find out if Trossard returned to training (in the same week he signed for Arsenal)?
I recall there were no pics/video from the training ground on the Mon/Tue that week.
Publically stating you'd leave your club for another when you have 18 months left IS unusual.
Post-World Cup? Simply pee'd off and demotivated.
Hope he gets games at Arsenal. Just reminded of this...
“I know Leandro: bench him three times and he goes wild.” - Josy Comhair, Leandro Trossard’s...
In September, Trossard said he'd think about his future after the World Cup.
But in the same breath admitted that he'd follow Potter to Chelsea given the opportunity! Didn't take long to think about that.
Writing was on the wall. He was never going to be with us next season!
Improves our reputation as a stepping stone for players to the big six - and a big cheque.
Hard to take as a fan, sometimes, but all-good if it encourages more starlets to join.
And in this case, we got some good mileage out of him and a profit. Can't complain really.
Keep up. This was referred to in the agent's message, prior to 5pm.

We've had press conference quotes from de Zerbi and a statement from Trossard's agent, which the sulky player would have signed off.
Plenty to go there. Truth, as always, somewhere in-between....
That's VERY specific...
De Zerbi says Trossard left training early without permission after finding out he was not going to start in the FA Cup win at Middlesbrough last week.
"He left the session without saying anything to me. And it's not good," said De Zerbi.
"I spoke with him and I...
Yeah, something like that. Of course, scoring some goals in January - not sulking - would help all concerned.
Brighton aren't struggling like Belgium....
