I don’t think it affects our negotiating stance at all. Clubs know players want away simply by getting on the phone to them. If a club wants him then they have to pay.
I think people are backing the club against player power. It’s an important principle in building a strong squad mentality. RDZ is simply the one articulating it. The alternative is there for all to see at Chelsea. Well done the club.
I’ve just watched the RDZ interview. What a refreshing change for a manager in any business to be so straight talking. Trossard will know exactly where he stands. RDZ is a very impressive guy.
