Farewell Leo, such a great player and I was always waiting for the 'Season of Trossard', in the end we just got half of one perhaps but c'est la vie. Shame how it ended but sometimes that happens. I'm sure he'll do well at Arsenal. I can see it all from his point of view, three and a half years...

In the past we haven't sanctioned sales because it's to our direct rivals due league positions. Does this mean that Spurs would be out as a destination? At some point the guy has to come back to training, and I hope things get resolved.

I don't disagree that he would like to move up in the game, he's made that clear many times - but it's a stretch to go from there to this completely unprofessional behaviour before the transfer window had even opened. I imagine he got himself in a very bad place where he didn't care about...

Does sound a bit like he needed an arm round his shoulders after the WC disappointment, he may well have seen MacAllister having time off celebrating, thought it should have been him and got himself messed up. Not really making excuses for him but he obviously got himself into a bad headspace...

The WC was hugely disappointing for him though, and I hope the club did factor that in a bit before making these moves

Sad sad sad. This season eh, first Cucurella, then Potter, Bruno and the rest, now Trossard. We find ourselves hurling abuse at people we were cheering to the rafters just six short months ago. The price of success?

I'm not sure I've ever had an issue with Trossards work rate. Have you really? He's been a fantastic player for us and I hope he will continue to be so.

Well, I think you're coo-coo, but then again if your team share this same unfettered optimism anything is possible. 0-5 is more possible though.
