Would? Or could?
Given his performances, actions and (from what we're led to believe) attitude around then, that's a big assumption to make. IMO, like...
Really? Maybe he'd seen enough of Trossard to know a move was the right thing for all parties. Therefore GOOD man management. Let's face it, we're doing alright without him!
Do we really know how he 'left', though? Yes we've heard both sides of the story, but I take both with a pinch of salt. If whatever happened was *that* bad, would he and the club have bothered with the 'thank you, goodbye and good luck' videos? I think not.
I know that doesn't suit the...
Or maybe RDZ was in on the whole thing? He mentioned him a LOT since he arrived, saying he could play better, etc – even after a hattrick at Anfield. It could be a cleverly orchestrated move from the club as a whole to maximise his value, let him move on and re-invest in the 'next Trossard'...
Who would you rather win the title then? I've no allegiance to Arsenal, but I would rather see them win than anyone else because loads of people said they wouldn't. Also a bit because Ben White (even though the bucket-botherer made him the player he was) is a product of our club. On a related...
I've no issue with him leaving – as I've said before, players and managers come and go and the model at the club certainly seems to be to maximise profits on players such as Trossard.
Also, there's clearly two sides to the story – or at least a clash of personalities. I'm not saying that either...
Fair enough. Makes a bit of a mockery of the whole 'tapping up' thing, then! Also, I thought I'd seen instances where deals had been 'done', but then personal terms couldn't be agreed – or were yet to be agreed? I guess it works all ways...
It's not that they find it difficult – they just don't want to. People on here have told me that they like to hold grudges, which is fine – each to their own and all that. Personally I can't see the point and needless anger/stress/brain space!
I'm the same, but the difference is IF he (or any other player or manager) wants to leave, I'm more than happy to wave him on his way. No hate or animosity like we've seen recently – once they've made their mind up, get the best money for them then off they go. We'll carry on with making...
