    [Albion] De Zerbi Thoughts?

RDZ needs to ask one or two of them to sandbag their performances a bit. Just to stay under the radar. Last thing we need is Mitoma scoring worldies and skinning apparently world class fullbacks leaving them looking like they have PTSD.

April 9th to Sept 4th 2022. P14 W9 D3 L2 pts 30. 26 Dec 2021 to April 2nd 2022. P14 W3 D5 L6 pts 14. If the purple patch is the new normal, it is based on just 14 games. The preceding 106 league games under Potter yielded 1.09 points per game. In the last 2 seasons we have lost: Manager and...

We did the same thing at Fulham. It’s not necessarily changing things, it’s whether players can maintain performance levels game after game. We lost home to Spurs only 6 months or so ago as well - it’s not like we weren’t losing games under the old manager.

But that only came about as both teams came at us hard in the first quarter or so of the game and snatched a lead. Not letting us settle early in the game was key. Will be interesting if Forest can start the game with that much intensity and attacking intent.

All this was said as we went into Spring when so many thought the only thing we faced was relegation when we lost 6 on the bounce. Some of you just cannot escape the vortex of dark thoughts dragging you into an inevitable abyss. We’ve lost to a title contender and a very decent team on their...

    [Albion] De Zerbi Thoughts?

It’s only 6 weeks ago we did pretty much the same thing at Fulham. Yep, tactical change around mid-game, yep still conceded 2 goals despite all the possession and chances, but both outcomes very similar. Fact is many have got carried away with April to October form and got used to that as the...

    [Albion] De Zerbi Thoughts?

3 results so far have been very much us haven’t they. Some details here and there but the performances / outcomes very much in keeping with the previous regime. Looking forward to Tuesday as will be good to see how we approach that.

No different to Potter so far.

A huge overreaction for saying you should go with another poster. That's funny. :lolol:

What language issue? He already seems pretty fluent in front of cameras. He seems to be communicating fine from the touchline in the moment. It's one area that now we've seen and heard him for a couple of weeks, doesn't seem to be an issue at all.

Anything that remotely resembles pragmatic objective thinking is happy clapping it would seem.
