The producers have already stated that there will not be a female Bond. I thought it was done well in NTTD, Phoebe Wallops Bridgerton did a good job on tweaking the script to bring strong female agents on board.

I’d prefer to see Bond remain as a white male. Purely because that’s what I identity with when I watch a Bond film. Having said that, I’m not fussed if they change it up. It’s a fiction. And one can go in any direction with fiction. Either way, I’m intrigued to see what they do with the character.

I'm not sure there is much of a story left to tell, is there? Craig saved the franchise from the doldrums. And let's face it, most Bond films before Craig were either arse achingly dull or ridiculously over the top. Craig's tenure had some genuinely great films in it. But the story is over now...
