Noah, if real which is pretty questionable, would most likely have been brown. As the story goes we should all be his descendants, and since people have different skin colours, he must have had some kind of variation of different colours in his gene pool.
Actually, I believe you might be the one with an agenda.
The ones - mainly you and the TugWilson bloke - arguing that a black James Bond would be some kind of disaster for a character who has already changed beyond recognition, are also people who strangely enough seem to have a real problem...
If you "can't make James Bond anything but he's always been", then why is he now all of a sudden now a some kind of tearful insecure self-doubting non-smoking feminist in the last couple of movies?
Ian Flemings Bond could not have been black, no. Not a chance you could send a black guy to most foreign countries to do spionage and secret agent things in the 1950s as it would scream "American agent". But if they keep him in the modern era, I don't see why not - Craig, Brosnan or Daltons Bond...
They can't do that IMO, not unless putting it a different time era. To just go on with a new bloke as if nothing happened... no.
I'll take that... definitely think they should send him back to the 60s (50s or 70s would also be fine). Drinking, smoking, gambling, mistreating women... just being...
Disagree.
The Daniel Craig movies had real potential to do what you said - connect the movies a bit more creating a strong continuos narrative - but they just messed the whole thing up. It is clear that they did not plan all the five movies at once and in the last one they had to work like...
Whoever they pick, I think they want one the can use for four or five movies and then I think you can rule out anyone 50+. Probably not even anyone above 45.
Also a huge Bond fan but generally don't watch a lot of movies so can't really point at any candidates.
The ending of the last film is the best chance they'll get to introduce a non-white Bond without making it looking to silly, wouldn't be too surprised if they go with that. Wouldn't mind it...
