    [Film] Next James Bond?

You got blatant things wrong like the Scottish heritage - not part of how the character was created, only introduced after a Scotsman played him in a film - simple stuff for even you to grasp.

    Like your arguments really.

    [Film] Next James Bond?

In the novels (notably Casino Royale and From Russia, with Love), Fleming's Bond's physical description has generally been consistent: slim build; a three-inch long, thin vertical scar on his right cheek; blue-grey eyes; a "cruel" mouth; short, black hair, a comma of which falls on his forehead...

    [Film] Next James Bond?

M was never a women. Money Penny was never a former field agent. Bond has been 7 different actors. If you're not going to treat Bond with any creative license, you may as well stop because we've already gone well beyond Fleming's oeuvre. Incidently, Fleming didn't write Bond to be Scottish...

    [Film] Next James Bond?

It's irrelevant really. Other than the Craig films none of them were filmed to any chronological timescale. Just like Batman, he can be reinvented by the next set of film makers. Speaking of which, Christopher Nolan doing a stint on a trilogy of Bond films would get me very excited.

    [Film] Next James Bond?

What I loved about the Craig era was that they made a set of movies that tracked his start as 007 to it's conclusion. It felt like a real narrative rather than separate films representing unconnected adventures. Craig's Bond managed to convey a bit of inner turmoil that I don't recall other...
