That last block has opened and it was much bigger than any of the others about 900 seats but i am not sure if the seats that are at the front of the upper tier and not put on sale were included in the 7000 or not, still a pretty good effort though to probably see the reserves play!
Surely that is the front two rows as every block in the upper tier opened so far has started at row 3 , unless you mean that the front three rows have been greyed out ( i.e.row 3, 4, and 5 ) as soon as the block was opened ?
Just an update for those interested. When the top tier block 116 opened today the first 3 rows were unavailable this was because the club released a corresponding number of the block of seats that they were holding in the lower tier for comps sponsors etc. I have been watching the sales since...
I alluded to this in a couple of my previous posts . I was hoping the club would be able to have some of the two tiers available at the same time to give people a real choice especially as they are saying quite clearly and forcefully that standing will NOT be allowed in the upper tier . I would...
Being really pedantic and annoying it is actually much closer to 900 than 1000 . I think that last block in the lower tier will be about 800 so if they do indeed have to sell nearly all of those as well i have to agree with you about the upper tier .
When and if the upper tier does open i wonder...
Many thanks Bozza, will be very interesting to see how this goes.
With about 400 tickets left for Man City after they did open the top tier and still about 900 for Wolves ( with 2 blocks yet to open ) and this being a midweek carabao cup game i wonder if the demand will be as much as i was...
It does read like that but i do not think they will wait till the bottom tier is almost completely sold otherwise what would be the point of stressing the fact that the upper tier will be seating only if you are not going to offer a choice?
Surely the club do not want the situation where some...
I would put it this way :-
Standing and singing with the dedicated fans ( including the young powder sniffers ) in the cheap area below
OR
Sitting and either singing or moaning with some more mature fellows ( possibly with blankets and flasks if allowed NOT ! ) in the upper area for twice the...
So i see STH can buy up to 4 guest tickets but these are not available till the 28th and as it clearly states you cannot move your ticket once purchased to be with people buying in further tiers i wonder if this will affect sales initially as those bringing family friends etc will have to wait...
I am assuming the lower tier is the corner we usually get for away league matches in which case it is not too bad , no pillars etc , but bit awkward being in the corner .
