    [Albion] Next Brighton manager

He’d hardly be the first manager to come here with no experience of the English league - Guardiola, Wenger, Mourinho, Klopp, Benitez, Pochettino and Conte for a start and they all did ok. Potter had no knowledge of the Swedish leagues when he went over there. It’s a universal game, it really...

Do you really think Martinez would be number 1 candidate? I'm not sure about him at all. Although if he brought Henry as his assistant I'd be all for it!

I agree with that. I'm not anticipating an announcement until the middle/end of next week. That will still give the new manager and coaching staff over a week before the Liverpool game.

Agree with that. His contract is up at the end of the season and I worry about both Ashworth and Potter now with Lallana. Hopefully offer him a new contract in some playing/non playing capacity soon.

They might not be interested, we might not be that interested in them. But I would say those answers are fairly safe and standard answers from managers currently in work.

I’ve read both quotes and wouldn’t say that at all. They just both used the standard manager line of focussing 100% on their current jobs.

Personally, of the linked candidates, De Zerbi is the one I would want as I know more about him having watched Sassuolo a bit under him and I like everything I know and have read about him. From what I've seen of Bodo and recently read up on Knutsen since he was linked, I also like him as a...

De Zerbi would be very interesting. Did a cracking job at Sassuolo and he’s very highly thought of as a young up and coming coach. Also showed he had real balls and moral integrity in Ukraine.

Gallardo would be great but surely he'll go to Spain first? Sevilla is the obvious move as Lopetegui hasn't got long left there at all.

It’s going to be Knutsen isn’t it? It is just SO Brighton! Hope it’s sooner rather than later so he can get on the training pitch with the players.

Yeah I can't see Postecoglou leaving Celtic at the moment whilst he's still in the Champions League. Let's face it, he's going to win the league again and he can't lose in the Champions League - he will only enhance his reputation there as he did Tuesday night. If he wants to leave Celtic in the...

Find it bizarre anyone would suggest Bruno. He has absolutely zero experience of managing and some expect him to just walk in and take over a top Premier League club. Romantic notion and fine as an interim but I really hope he wouldn’t be anywhere near the top of Bloom’s list.

Just heard on Albion unlimited Adam El-Abd saying that Adam Hinshelwood has Worthing playing like Potter has Brighton. Seamless.
