    That's the beast. I believe it has something to do with the cookies that track what we've read / not read. When I get the error, I can take the URL and use it in an incognito window and it works fine. Or, as others have found, if you delete your cookies it will go back to working fine.

    Was getting it as well, just done a cookie deletion. 520 errors (not 502), it's Cloudflare misbehaving with the new NSC servers - something isn't configured correctly. Next time I get it, I'll take a screenshot, as it's giving a good amount of info that Bozza might find useful.

    Definitely not an expert on certs, but I believe Cloudflare will be presenting its own cert that'll be taking priority. When you switched it off, things will have fallen back on your base NSC setup - it's likely that cert (which normally isn't used because of Cloudflare) is either not configured...

    Bozza just had a browser warning as I came in that NSC's security cert is invalid. Might want to look into that (possibly because you have Cloudflare off?)

    I did just the NSC ones recently (because they weren't remembering what I'd read / not read properly) and it took less than a minute. But having said that: I've not had any issues either during or after the maintenance. Didn't even need to log back in.

    Another problem with it is that the interpretation has been evolving since the legislation was originally passed, and the ICO has some latitude to make it stricter / less strict. For eg the definitions of what does and does not count as PII has shifted a little since 2019 when the laws first...
