This isn’t really my point. My point is more that, in my opinion, each and every year there’s some amazing albums released…as well as a lot of good ones….just like 1972. That’s all.

Agree. I randomly looked up 1990 and there’s 5 albums which I could term as classics in their fields. I might not necessarily like them all myself but that’s not the point.

A handful of classics, but that’s it. Like most years really.
