    Hmm how do you mean? On the West Coastway it is very difficult as only Platform 3 is accessible from London and Hove, and at that only four carriages would be able to do that

    There are a few depots that don't do that route, mainly the ones up London who would never likely operate a Brighton to Lewes train.

    Oh I didn't see the 313s on Wednesday, but wouldn't be surprised, I know they can't get the 313s as six car on seafords as they can't stop at Moulescoomb and London Road due to Selective Door Opening, could have been a reason. Didn't understand why we were down to three an our on Wednesday.

    That 12 Car Class 455 that is in Hove Yard, I believe is for scrap and can't work on the coastway anyway.     Yes that is absolutely ridiculous, I think there is a connection at Preston Park, but most people don't think to do it.

    Genuine question here though, where do Southern get the carriages from? And how do they fit them on a platform that only has room for 8? I don't think Southern can get anymore trains on tbh, Network Rail need to upgrade the infrastructure.
