It literally isn't opinions though is it. What I've stated are facts. People just don't like being told what happens on dairy farms as it removes their ignorance.

Education is generally the best way. I initially went pescetarian because I had a module on the environment in my uni degree and the statistics are appalling. Then through being pescetarian I watched documentaries on the fishing industry and decided that I didn't want to eat fish anymore...

Given that I was born and raised in Brighton, have supported the Albion my whole life, come from a family who have supported them, had a season since as soon as I could due to financial reasons and travel to away games whenever possible. I'd say yes, I love Brighton. This thread is on animal...

Carrots don't have a central nervous system or a brain to process pain or other feelings. You've already shown yourself to be a moron there bud. Also if you want to save plants then the best way to do it is to become vegan as less plants are grown to feed a human than to feed animals for...

Turns out people don't like learning what actually goes on for their cup of tea in the morning. All I did was state what happens on EVERY dairy farm. The only thing I got wrong is that if the calf is a female, they are instead raised to do exactly the same as their mother.

Well it's also just true. Dairy farming relies on everything I said. It is also impossible to love animals when you raise them in an inhumane way then murder them years before they would naturally die.

I really enjoy oat milk on cereal. It's a lot creamier than some of the other plant milks which makes it a better substitute. In coffee I was drinking it before I was even vegetarian, let alone vegan. I much preferred it to dairy milk.

Yes and the fact is that the transport of those is still massively less than the emissions from rearing local meat and dairy. These days tofu is grown in the Netherlands so it's even less transport than before.

If they cared about their animals they wouldn't subject them to forced impregnation, rip those babies away from their mothers while the mothers cry out for them and then murder those babies while they're still suffering separation anxiety. You can't be an animal farmer and care for your...

Except they don't. The companies source their almonds from farms in Spain. Very different to importing their almonds from Spain.

Feed is regularly used in the UK. 68% of soy imports into the UK are for livestock, and even those that claim not to contribute to Amazon deforestation often do. https://unearthed.greenpeace.org/2022/02/10/deforestation-free-soya-farmers-amazon-destruction/amp/ The CO2 absorption of the...

Almond milk in the UK tends to come from Almonds grown in Southern Spain. Much better for the environment than the ones grown in California.

In the dairy or meat industry, food miles make up a tiny fraction of the carbon emissions.

They do far less environmental damage than dairy. They use less land, less blue water and produce less greenhouse gases than the equivalent amount of cow's milk. People point to soy milk as being the cause of the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. In reality 90% of soy grown there goes to...
