Yeah, but this thread is about the alpha men thing. Finding some kind of equivalent case doesn’t diminish the disgust felt by people (specifically I mean myself) about hospital invasion.

Actually, I don’t agree. They are not thick. A number of them are quite eloquent and that’s what makes them so dangerous. Similar approach to Islamic terrorist recruitment techniques. The motivations seem to be paranoia and selfishness.
The part about removing people from intensive care wards is chilling. I have just emerged from intensive care and people coming in from the outside is a really frightening thought.
