That makes no sense…..I’ve done it multiple times. Is it possible you were trying to purchase them before the on-sale date for ST guest tickets ? This is usually a couple of days after they go on sale to Albion+ members.
People have given up, and it’s gone too far to be enforced unless it becomes a legal requirement with penalties for the event hosts (ie club) Public transport is arguably worse…..last week in London, despite very regular announcements and loads of posters confirming masks were (legally)...
The ID check is against the covid pass, not the name on the ticket. If you have print-at-home tickets, they’ll almost certainly be fine - names aren’t checked.
Yes…….essentially the same (plus £1) as ‘upgrading’ a concessionary ticket (which is allowed - ie pay the difference between the ST price and the ST pro rata price) - still not sure why the club can’t allow this to be done without having to use the exchange.
Point 2 really answers point 1……I still don’t think 1 or 2 in 50 is a lot in the circumstances, Also likely more are on the exchange rather than simply being left empty (which is a good thing)
As for ‘agenda’, bad choice of win my part.
Why state ‘100%’ then ? It’s meaningless.
Approx 1 in 50 STHs have listed their ticket in the last few days, for a late ko, with escalating Covid rates and at the start of half term and after the club have publicised the opening of the exchange. It’s a small minority, not a relatively large...
Technically correct….but it’s also about 2% of STHs listing their tickets in the last few days following a heavy media campaign by the club.
Lies, damns lies and bullshit percentages to suit the agenda eh ?
It’s good to see people putting tickets on the exchange if they can’t go - that’s what accounts for the ‘unsold’ tickets. Attendance will be a record, and announced as a virtual sellout (which it technically will be)
