[News] Wayne Couzens has pleaded guilty to murder of Sarah Everard

I heard there were some anti covid demonstrators that turned up but not that Patsy Stevenson was one of them.

I can't comment on her behaviour because I haven't read anything about it. I know she is taking legal action against the police, and I know the police wrongly used Covid regulations to break up a vigil. Those I have backed up with links to news reports.

The police conduct at the vigil has been ruled unlawful. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-57681739 The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Democracy and the Constitution has been looking in to both cases. The group says that both the Metropolitan Police and Avon and Somerset Police...

To follow on, another Met policeman, from the same unit as Couzens, was arrested on Saturday, and charged with rape. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58784201 A Metropolitan Police officer accused of raping a woman he met on Tinder has been remanded in custody. PC David Carrick, 46, of...

This is sinister. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-58805186 A woman who was pictured being arrested at the Sarah Everard vigil has said "about 50" police officers have since contacted her via a dating app, leaving her "terrified". Patsy Stevenson, 28, said the officers approached...

[News] Wayne Couzens has pleaded guilty to murder of Sarah Everard

What I find frightening is that ‘colleagues’ know these men are doing it, but won’t grass them up or higher ups are not listening. In the meantime, the Police Commissioner in North Yorkshire has kindly advised women to learn their rights so they can’t be ‘falsely arrested! Great, so now we...

My own opinion is that males feel entitled to leer and jeer when younger, but then change their minds when they become Dads themselves. It will take men telling other men not to treat women like objects, but so many want to be in line with their peers, they won't. Schools don't help. One...

Did Priti Patel and Cressida Dick know he had 'arrested' her, whilst in uniform, when they sent the police in, against the women holding the vigil? I am holding them responsible for the unlawful behaviour of the police, so people don't think I am just on an anti-men rant.

15 women have been killed by police in the last 12 years, the majority were 'domestic incidents'. 1443296063373316103 There needs to be a lot more accountability in police forces.

I read the three statements from Sarah's parents and her sister. I am not ashamed to say I cried. Her sister, especially, challenged Couzens to look at her whilst she read it in court. Brave lady. Their statements are here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-58742568

It’s the Met. You’d hope it would be properly investigated but I doubt it will. I have no confidence in them as a force. This original post ended up in the Bear Pit, but it was shown the police acted unlawfully against the women who held the vigil for Sarah...

Witnesses saw him ‘arrest’ her without suspecting it was a kidnap. It explains why he was able to take her off a busy street. It’s terrifying and sick.

12 officers are being investigated as part of this case. Why wasn’t he suspended when he was known to have indecently exposed himself at least three times? He had a high security job. There’s still a lot of questions to be answered.
