Spin it another way - Potter knows his leading striker confidence is shot and I said after he was dropped for the Spurs game something wasn't quite right leading up to and after that game. And he hasn't recovered. But who is pushing him for his place? Or can Potter drop him for? Connolly has...
I don't think anyone is saying there is no problem with Maupay, but he is certainly not the only one to blame nor should he be the one carrying the can.
Even if we spent £50M on Johnny SuperStriker, if he got injured in the first game of the season we'd be back to square one. That is why I...
We have 1 player, Southampton & Palace who are only just above us in the table have 3 & 2 players - total of 25 and 17 goals.
We just have Neal in there on 8. Get another player in the team that can score 8 or 2 players that can score 6 each and we'd be flying up the table.
Not sure really - but I was just saying Neal Maupay is performing as well as his price tag suggests, and in similar form of other £20M~ strikers, some of which are even at Top 6 clubs and have scored as many as him....
So everyone clamoring for a better striker probably needs to aim it at the...
OK - and Bowen has scored the same amount as Maupay this season, in a team challenging for the Top 6.
But stats don't show that, so it is all hypothetical. None of them are much better than 8-10 goals per season which is where Neal sits.
I am not defending Neal here, but I am saying the club...
Sure - but that’s all hypothetical. I’m talking about actual goals - hence ‘better record’
No one talks xG when comparing Pele or Maradona do they [emoji2375]
In the PL it is. Murray has 36 in 7 seasons (for 3 clubs), take out the ones where he didn’t really play and it’s 26 in 5. Maupay has 16 in 2.

You can say that for every striker in the PL though, no ?
Whatever people think - Neal is one of our best and consistent goal scorers since promotion and his record is at least good as the messiah Glenn Murray.
Now whether we could have got a better striker for £20M 2 years ago is another...
