Long ban......who did you offend ?

No idea. I’ve got pals who have got there before opening (people are queuing well before it opens), and have gone 30 mins before it closes and didn’t get in - 4pm close is strictly enforced. Seems as though you basically need to allow an hour+ for a visit.

Loaded the car up with so much **** I had to go today. Queue was almost back to Isaac’s Lane and took just over an hour - made sure I timed it so I could listen to the cricket on the radio. Only about half the bays in use to help with distancing but all pretty civilised.

I’m not even allowed to walk on Folders Lane, let alone live there :lolol::lolol:

Yep, plus limited capacity I suspect. I’m literally a 2 min drive away so it’s easy to pop back thankfully

Further than that today.....just about back to the main London Road. An hour or more I would guess (I didn’t wait to find out).

Just been - or rather not been - to the local tip. Longest queue I've ever seen (Burgess Hill for those local - the queue was back to the roundabout). I guess they have probably blocked half the parking spaces to ensure distancing.

Does seem to move slowly - I sometimes see people at the front of the queue waiting for a 'particular' space (presumably so they are closer to whichever bin they need) which doesn't help when it's busy. Last time I went there at the weekend the queue was back to the stream so I bailed !

For the vast majority it'll make things easier - less queuing time etc - wouldn't mind it at our local, need to avoid it at weekends as the queue can be enormous.........only problem is it'll probably lead to an increase flytipping from people who turn up at the tip without an appointment and...
