Makes sense. The Little Chef was on the Southbound side. I used to do a lot of washing up and those pancakes were marvelous for break times. At the time I hated the job but I would love to be 16 years old and in that kitchen again !

I worked at the Little Chef at Hickstead around 1982/1983. Were they different ? Those cherry (from a large jar) and ice cream pancakes were amazing.

Needs an ‘other’ option. I am very much looking forward to chorizo and melted cheese pancakes this evening. I didn’t like lemon/sugar pancakes when I was a kid. Needs to be more imaginative
