The only public information I can think of is the frequent speeding violations which could result in him losing his license https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theargus.co.uk/news/19179488.amp/
This kind of thing would be higher profile if at a 'big' club, which I suppose could make them think...
Yeah, thats kind of my overall point - an extension raises his value to levels potentially too expensive for his desired destination. But if he was interested in a move this summer he's gone a funny way about it, no substantive rumours at all. I just think the club was negotiating quite hard as...
Yep, I agree. Thats the sensible move from the club, and although we presumably hate release clauses, the player in this case has a strong hand. Even if the release clause isn't 50-100m, it at least prevents us losing him for nothing.
I'd be very surprised if there wasn't an extended contract...
When contracts run down the transfer fee of players inevitably lose value, regardless of who the owner is. If its 30m next summer or £0 the year after, we'll take the 30.
What are the alternatives? Force through a sale now or in January, but if he doesn't want to go to one of the few clubs...
Disappointed that Lallana and Trossaed don't have it in their locker. Mac Allister looks for all the world like he should be able to curl one in. I reckon Connolly would be great at it but he'll be down the pecking order. But if none of them can let's go back to March. This wellying it at the...
I do... He's certainly ambitious... He would certainly be of interest to clubs like Liverpool.... If he wanted to move there he could certainly engineer a move with only two years left on contract... They're would certainly be paper talk and rumours of moves even if they didn't come to...
My expectation is that Bissouma would like to go to the continent to play his prime years in Spain or Italy, and would be prepared to let his contract run down so those clubs can afford him - unless very clear release clauses in a new contract. I would be surprised if he ties himself to a...
So, all BHA specs off, Yves Bissouma v Kalvin Phillips, how do they compare?
Both outstanding defensive midfielders, extremely calm on the ball, break up play, great range of passing, like to burst forward with the ball, both critical to their respective teams, only a few months between them in...
