Lamptey and Bissouma are the standouts there, outstanding signings.
Propper and Ryan are decent

I saw a chart the other day that had Brighton as the 5th highest net spend in the PL in the past 5 years.
Those crying for more to be spent are wrong, money is being spent - just really badly.

I guess each fan base is different, I wonder if Brighton are in the mid table position for a few years that view would change?
From a ticket sales point of view, I think a relegation battle sells more tickets than mid table nothingness.
Look at Stoke/Charlton/WBA all safe PL sides but wanted to change the style to sell more tickets.
Ended up going down.
I think the issue is since the move to the Amex it’s been mainly positive seasons, even the Hypia season was a success in staying up.
Whilst there was a couple of failures in the play offs, getting into them was a success at the time, also means far more wins than defeats.
