:lolol: Had covid not ravished the world we would be playing in the championship the way things were heading. It will catch up with us this season it invariably always does when your scrapping around at the bottom of the league. Our only hope is if Fulham don’t go on a run and stay as they are...
Toughest period in management means the mans having a struggle no? If I’m having difficulty with something I normally say I’m struggling with that
Your first sentence isn’t quite truthful. Did he have Ulloa, Buckley, Barnes, Ward to name a few. I believe Hyypia’s first game he had to play Fenelon against Wednesday.
That’s exactly how I’m thinking, I’ve seen it all before. It’s obvious and the man even admits he’s struggling at this level. Rather than take the club down he should walk like Hyypia did and leave with some dignity and respect for trying.
An interesting or depressing stat as we do like to roll out stats since the arrival of Potter,
RB Leipzig have beaten more PL sides in 2020 than we have. Don’t know if I should laugh or cry :(
It’s a mirror image of last season, we played well in the first few games then rapidly went down hill. We haven’t improved one bit under Potter and you could argue getting worse as the weeks pass by.
A few on here have been dumb struck with a few good performances, we also had some crackers...
There is a lot of assumptions that If we go down we will have a really good championship season. Absolutely no proof that would happen we could even find ourselves doing a Sunderland.
Agree with this the second season is notoriously hard going for promoted sides, Chris Wilder for example isn’t a bad manager it’s the nature of the beast which is the PL. Hughton had earned a chance at a third season IMO.
