do you recall crescent head , ballina or south west rocks .......bloody fantastic surf breaks and in the early 2000's were virtually empty out of season , some great memories..:)

lots of lovely beaches up there but you do need to know what you're doing ....i think it was the 2000 new years eve party on Bondi Beach 2 japanese tourists drowned and many others got into all sorts of bother trying to help them ....scary shit mate ..!!

similar experience at Bronte beach in Sydney 2002 .......4 mtr swell @ about 12 second intervals , absolutely washing machined , dumped and fecked up , landed on the beach no board , no rash vest and shorts round on ankle to tumultuous applause from all the grommets , i hadn't had a propper...

all sorts of silliness in the African bush / jungle , vehicle roll overs , brushes with local wildlife both 2 and 4 legged. breaking both legs in a rock climbing incident and getting airlifted out 3 months hospital . systemic speptaceamea (sic)........5 months in hospital , lost 28 kg's...
